Our Story
How it all started
Our team has always been passionate about the water. In 2020, we started a charter company together with a single 24-foot boat.
As the business grew and expanded into new locations, we quickly ran into a major challenge: finding qualified crew. Not only was it difficult to find skilled people, but verifying credentials and experience was often unreliable. The marine hiring process was fragmented across word of mouth, social media groups, and outdated systems.
We realized the industry needed something better.
In 2024, the idea for Harbor was born.
Our team spent over a year designing and building a platform that brings modern technology to marine hiring while maintaining the strong community that makes the industry special.
Harbor officially launched early access in June 2025, and we are now working closely with crew and captains to refine the platform and continue improving the way marine professionals connect.
